As educators lets ask our self a question. Does detention really work? I mean whether we send a kid to lunch or after school detention. Does the message get across to the student in a manor that that we want it portrayed as?
It usually work back in the days but today's generation scares me a little bit. These kids are not scared of anything most especially they know about their rights and all now. I just can't believe how kids act these days and they think they can get away with it too. It may work to other kids and it may not work to some. It just really depends.
